Hi, I'm Andrei.
I’m a Brazilian composer, pianist, and music educator.
My musical journey began when I started studying piano at the age of 14. From the very beginning, alongside learning the instrument and developing my technique, I found myself writing my own piano pieces. Composition became a natural part of how I explored and understood music.
As my interest in composing grew, I wanted to deepen my knowledge and develop my skills. This led me to study Music Composition and Conducting at UNESPAR (State University of Paraná), in Brazil.
During my university years, I was introduced to film scoring. At the same time, I was involved in theater productions, which gave me the opportunity to compose music for the plays I was part of. These experiences brought composition closer to storytelling and opened a new path in my musical journey.
Since then, I have continued developing my work as a composer, expanding into audiovisual projects while also pursuing my own original music.

My interest in teaching began during my university years, when I enjoyed helping fellow students explore and better understand different musical subjects.
A few years later, I started teaching piano, discovering another meaningful way to connect with music. Teaching keeps me in touch with the music my students listen to and challenges me to find new approaches to learning, adapting each lesson to their individual interests and needs.
Music education
My approach to composition has been shaped by the music that first inspired me to become a musician. Composers such as Yann Tiersen and Yanni were among my earliest influences. As I continued studying piano, I discovered the works of Beethoven, Grieg, Debussy, Chopin, Tchaikovsky, Philip Glass, and John Field, whose different musical languages gradually influenced the way I compose.
My original compositions often begin with a story that takes shape in my imagination. Perhaps this connection between music and storytelling comes from my experience in theater. When composing for film and theatrical productions, that relationship takes on a different form, as I explore how music can become part of an existing narrative.
One of the things I enjoy most about scoring is the expressive range of the orchestra. I see it as an extraordinary palette of colors, full of possibilities for creating different musical atmospheres. When I'm introduced to the artistic identity of a project, I begin searching for the musical colors that belong to its world. It's a process of experimentation and discovery, where the story and the music gradually come together to create a unique identity.
